Brief History
ATK is a friendly gaming community based in the UK, founded back in 2006. We cater for every type of gamer, from casual gamers who play almost everything, to hard-core pros that want a rigorous training schedule as part of a team. Both extremes, and everywhere in-between, are part of ATK. Even clans can join.
It all began in January 2006 with the founding of BRS - the British Rogue Squadron. Initially just a group of friends at school, we quickly grew into a clan that primarily played Counter-Strike: Source and had a particular taste for surf servers. If you can remember the surf_japan map, then you may well have been playing with all of us!
As the clan continued to grow, we realised that we could no longer rely on donations to keep things running. So, in October 2006, we secured a sponsorship deal which resulted our renaming to C2G, the Connect2 Gaming Community. It wasn’t until June 2007 that we moved sponsors and became the ATK Community that you all know and love.
Nowadays we’re bigger than ever before with pro gaming teams, our very own content team and dedicated server. If you’re a fan of LANs, then you should definitely join us on our annual pilgrimage to Multiplay’s i-series. We've been going since i30!
