Some of you may have heard about this before. It's basically a distribution platform like steam, but instead of purchasing each game seperately, you pay a monthly subscription of $10 and you can download as many games as you want from their range (1000+).
BUT, that isn't why I'm posting it here. See, there's three levels of subscription (well, only one is subscription). Now, the 3rd level has you a paying subscriber, but the first two (Guest and Registered) give you access to about 100 (!) free games. Yes, FREE games. Now, most of these are your average indie platform/crappy adventure games, however, there are some real gems to be had as well.
Here is a list of some of the FREE games you can get from GameTap:
- Deus Ex + Invisible War
- Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
- Hitman: Codename 47
- Tomb Raider Legend
- Thief (3): Deadly Shadows
- Psychonauts

Completely spyware free, the only catch is you gotta watch 15 seconds of advert whenever you load a game. But if you're bored and in need of some quick easy gaming, give it a try. Download the client by downloading any of the games under the free section, if you need any help, just ask on steam.
