However, you can get the game on Amazon for £25 free shipping, a mere $43 at current conversion rates, plus you get a the retail box and manual, and no download.

I think you get to play it earlier if you buy it on Steam though? Hmm.

Nice video, I will definitely get L4D. Am I right in thinking that if you buy it from somewhere like Play you still have to install it through Steam etc, just like HL2?

I will probably just go with the cheapest option in the end.

Hmm tough one, if i get to play a few levels a couple weeks earlier ill get it through steam but then again the price difference is quite considerable......

But its co-op, controllable zombie bosses, clever AI, atmosphere, gameplay and lots of other reasons really.

If I have to be honest, I'm not that hyped up about L4D. I'm with Darkdeagle to be honest, looks like they took zombie source mod, made proper zombie skins and made a full game out of it. Needless to say I won't be getting it, I'll be happy with Spore and WoW thanks.
