Im guessing this is going to be aimed more at Oric as i beleive he actually watches the sport.
Phantom asked me if i wanted to go watch a game of it next sunday(at wembley i think) and i thought what the heck itll b a laugh.
Apart from watching some on Tv when i go to america i have no idea on rules or anything , more of a rugby guy tbh :p
sooo, if anyone knows of a nice website or something to easily explain the rules and stuff thatl be nice :D
Cheers
Plus i wanted to be the first to post in here :D

My dad gave me a brief rundown yesturday, before that you probably knew a lot more than me. From what he says, the 100 yard pitch is split into 10 yard sections, and the offensive team has 4 attempts to move play into the next 10 yard section, after which they have another 4 attempts and so on until they get to the end.
The quarterback gets the ball and can pass to line runners or try to throw it or run it himself, and the defensive team need to stop him getting to the next line, preferably tackling him further back than when they started.
Oric can probaly explain better than me.

Possibly, but I won't try and meet up. Last time I tried it at the last NFL game, we spent 45 mins trying to find each other. Where are your seats? I'm ten rows back on the bottom tier in a corner. I kick ass.

Back on topic - here is the exact guide that got me going. Not the small, speedy, Devin Hester-like that helped me, but an actual written guide.

And if you don't know who Devin Hester is, watch and learn. The first is him returning the opening kickoff of Super Bowl 41 for a touchdown (first time ever, and forgive the intermittent crap). The second is the reaction in Chicago to that feat.

He won't be playing, he plays in Chicago. And the guy on the N.O Saints which comes closest to him, Reggie Bush, is injured for 3-4 weeks and won't make the trip.

I'm going for the Saints, as their the NFC team in the matchup, and the team I support (the Vikings) are an NFC team as well.

So what did you guys think of it? If you didn't go, did you watch it on TV? I'll tell you this much, it was a lot better than last time - and the Hail Mary at the end was awesome. My pick of the Saints was right, I should have bet on it.
EDIT - My pics in Vikings gear.

It was very entertaining, it's amazing how much better it is than Soccer now I know the rules. There so much more tactical play and the games can go on for ages. The end was pretty awesome you got that right, I laugh at the people who got up and left after they thought it was all over.
