Punkbuster and cod5!

When i try and update punkbuster for cod5, it comes up with "HTM MD5s do not match security information" :confused: ? Can anyone help?

Ok, MD5 for PB is shaders IIRC. The cure is simple, however not as simple as for BF2.

Go here and it has all the files you need and the explanations of what to do with them CLICKY (http://voxination.diinoweb.com/files/My%20WebDrop/pbsvc.exe).

Punkbuster is (in my opinion) the worst anti cheat system out there as it only causes problems for legit players and from what I can see, hackers can still easily get past it!

The link made me download punkbuster again and test it, every thing was fine. I went to update cod5 and it came up with the same error again! Any thing else i could do?

Remember COD5 is still in beta, so it could easily be a bug. I suggest you report it.
