Recently, I've got back into World in Conflict, and was wondering if anyone who actively goes to the i-lans, and is pretty sure they want to go to i37, wanted to make a team. Teams for the last few have been 4v4 with one in each role - Infantry (My main role), Air (Choppas!), Support (Friend of the Arty whores) and Armor (Tanks etc.).

You can buy the game for £16 on Play.com (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/1011955/World-In-Conflict/Product.html) if you don't already own it, and I am pretty sure most of you are in that boat. If you want a piece of the Berlin Wall, a cheap headset and a history lecture, you can pay £8 more for the collectors.

When I look at the community, the people that I see that would most likely be interested in this are Phantom (COH), Trigger (COH), Chaz (DoW) and possibly Chalex (Because he showed interest in the demo). This isn't to say that if you are interested in the idea, and not mentioned above, then feel free to post your interest.

This is not a definite thing yet, this is just to gauge interest and see if people would be willing to get the game in order to play as a team. If we prepare this well, we can practice properly as soon as exams finish and stand a good chance of going far.

When you post, post which role you might be interested in. But don't put infantry - no chance that leaves me (8200th World)

FOOTNOTE: Blue, I didn't put you down, even though you have the game, because, as far as I am aware, you have no interest in the i-Lans. If that is incorrect, please post and correct me.

I remember being un-impressed by the demo. The bad thing about playing CoH is that every other RTS game seems too "different". Me and Trigger tried Supreme Commander, it's a great game, but you couldn't get a more opposide game to CoH if you tried. I might have to try the demo again, it would definately be good if we could get a team together.

Have you condidered trying CoH? You can get it for only £18 with the expansion from play (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/3511774/Company-Of-Heroes-Gold-Edition/Product.html).

If i remember Oric has COH, i would be up for it as i enjoyed the game but ive only got it borrowed from a m8, may get it for Xmas actually. gr8 idea :D
Oh and Choppas is where its at, nothing better than doing coordinated raids xD

I do have CoH, but I got bored of WW2 a while ago. It's a good game, don't get me wrong. But I just got bored of it. Plus I wasn't ever any good. I might get the expansion, but I doubt it. I got WiC for RTS, WoW for MMO, Guitar Hero and CoD4 and CS for FPS, i'm pretty much sorted.
