With our shiny new hosting account comes a new feature to the ATK site - a downloads area! (http://www.atkcommunity.com/downloads.php)

All members have the ability to upload 100MB worth of files, which anyone who browses the site can download, whether they are a guest or not.

I'm starting small on the file sizes because I want to test the waters, and depending on how it goes, I may well increase everyone's space.

The main aim of this download area is so that we can all easily find each other's creations within ATK, so don't hesitate to upload as much as you can. Another great thing about this is that the files don't necessarily have to be uploaded to ATK and can simply be linked to in the upload process. This is perfect if you are hosting large files in other locations but want all your stuff to be available here.

If you are stuck and need help uploading please post below, and I look forward to seeing all of your creations being uploaded/linked to there!

Seems like a good idea, but dont we need some kind of quality control otherwise we may just end up with a lot of Rick roll links and videos etc :D

At the moment nothing is moderated before people are able to download, but obviously if people abuse the system then I'll have to moderate even single upload.

I'm sure noone wants that ;).

lol, but one thing, we should be able to have like private files like only you can download them or password protected, something like that :)

That would be an awesome feature Mr.Big, but is currently not available.

I'll talk to the author later today and see if he's planning a password feature.
