Don't lie, I can tell when you lie ;D

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..
If you haven't, add 1758.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are your age, amirite?

Yeah, seen these things since well, the internet existed. :p

I faintly remember being utterly bored and doing the maths behind one of them.

The maths roughly goes:

Step 1: n. Wooo!

Step 2: 2n

Step 3: 2n+5

Step 4: 100n+250

Step 5: 100n+250+1758 (or 1759, but I'll stick with 58 and expand on this bit in a second).

Step 6: 100n+250+1758-Birth... year?

For me thus, I was born in 1990 and haven't had my birthday so would go:

100n+250+1758-1990. If you takeaway the 100n, the numbers on their own work out your age as 1758+250= 2008. While 1759+250=2009. That minus the year in which you were born get your age.

And of course, 100n gives the number, fairly easy.

As you can see, I'm not impressed! And quite bored as I'm willingly doing maths in my spare time. :(
