I know most of you already know, but I'm going to be away on a cookery course from Monday 20th July until Friday 14th August - a month!
You'll still be hearing from me at the weekends, as we continue to prepare for i37 etc, but during the working week I will rarely be on.
Most of you have my mobile number, so please ring me if something breaks or whatever.

oh be nice targ... I agree though, it really isn't that hard just to learn the skills on your own. you don't need some failed nobody teaching you the correct way to peel an apple for some overgarnished french mess no one wants to eat at the best of times...

You'll remember in my last series I spent 6 episodes showing you how to boil water. Properly..... But you couldnt do it properly could you, so were jsut going to have to do it all again, untill you get it right.

This just makes me feel like a man. I'm going on a course from the 25th of July to the 15th of August. However my course can be best described as the whole course of DoE fitted into three weeks with an extra dose of assault course for good measure.
Have fun at your cooking course Chalex! Just remember as a student you'll be too poor to afford any ingredients anyway. Not that your Halls' oven will be working anyway. :p

Who also votes that Chalex should cook us all meals at i37?
And I agree being able to cook probably gets you friends as Uni... but a whole month.. waste of Summer Hols? :D
Enjoy it anyway Cambi, and don't give yourself food poisoning.

I seem to remember at i31 there was a van run by Polish people with the words 'THE GREAT BRITISH BEEF BURGER' sprawled across the top, but it sold just about every fast food apart from burgers...
I probably won't bother bringing any food this time, maybe just some fruit juice to keep my diet relatively healthy... just not as much as Oric's gallons and gallons of apple juice like last time. :p Seriously, he must've been running his van off the stuff considering how much he had brought...

No, we need something to put the sheet on to project onto, like trees.
