As some of you may know I've just moved to dumfries for university.

Ive already becoem aquainted with the local cybercafe thats jsut opened and there is a new game that i have become aware of.

Its engine is a bit out of date but the gameplay is quite good.

Its free to play (unless you want to convert some real money to game money to buy new weapons if you cba waiting to unlock them).

The game is probably most comparable to COD4 but its definatley worth a try.

You have to register after downloading it to get a username but as i said its free and you dont ahve to give any card details.

So give it a go and ill play with yall sometime :)

Downlaod the EU version here: http://combatarms.nexoneu.com/NXEU.aspx?PART=/Download/GameClient

and after its install there is a register button :)

The engine doesn't *look* too demanding, but as your laptop doesn't even have a dedi gfx chip i wouldn't think it would like it.

Well, even my intergrated (Classified as the worst intel chipset ever made), can run many things surprisingly well, I just complain because it won't run post-2007.

So give it a try, you never know, it may work.

...looks a bit like the original CS... chances are you can run it, if you can run source...

lol it doesn't look anything like 1.6.

It looks like it will be on par, maybe slightly more demanding than CSS, but the engine it uses makes me think its badly optimized and will be more GPU intensive

it's really blocky though... CS:S is smooth...
