I thought it would be interesting to get everyone to post their 2009 Christmas wish lists :). For me:

Sennheiser HD555 Open Headphone

with some sort of clip on mic that I have yet to decide on.

+ the usual money / shoes / clothes :D

I can't be asked with a graphics card or anything this year.

Yeah I agree, a lot of people are recommending the 5770 these days. DX11 could be worth it.

The new equipment upgrades in the other thread and hopefully this beauty.

As with VoX, pic doesn't do it justice. Might try and get some GK Backline Cab/Head equipment to go with it later in the new year.

EDIT - I reckon my keyboard is better Phant.

I honestly didn't think it was possible to stab someone with a guitar (a bass is still a guitar) until I saw that...

Lack of tremolo arm = fail.

DK, you clearly haven't seen most of the Dean or BC Rich lineup then :p.

Oric - Very nice, headstock looks a little bit small but the general in your face-ness more than makes up :D. You thought about replacing the fret-markers with LEDs? Seriously considering it lol.

Yeah, guess which colour? :D Problem is the quote of about £250.

I've got some custom picks with my Unicursal Hegagram on it ordered too (cost about the same per unit as regular picks). I really really need a band now, cause I am geared to the teeth :P

Why are there so many sharp guitars? D:

Oh, and I still think it would be a good idea to try recording seprate sections to a basic beat and connecting them together...

ATK musiks ftw!

EDIT: Plus bass colabs between the bassists (seriously, aren't there like... 3 or 4?) could sound awesome :P

Isphera

I recommended the collab type thing a while back, and actually said I expected the idea to go by the wayside (which it has). Admittedly, logistics are a bit of an issue, but it could be done. Bass collabs would be great, Big Bottom by Spinal Tap anyone?

OMG, why has this become guitar fest thread!!!!

D_K_Head
11th December 2009, 12:55 PM
...because like 50% of ATK play either the guitar, bass, or some variation thereof?

All the gear an no idea :p.

When playing in a band just make sure you get enough rehearsals in otherwise you drift apart after a while. Although get a good band and it's great fun :D

I'd deffo be into the band, and put most of my effort behind it. It's just a matter of finding people who share my musical interest and I can actually get on with.
