OK, a bit wide reaching, but most people book them way in advance. What is everyone doing for their holidays this year? I'm guessing many will say i40 for a weekend (myself 99% included), but what about abroad and the chinese from the next town over :D Fill us all in/brag.
My plans? They come in two phases.
APRIL
America Trip of Pure Awesomeness
1. Leg One - Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minneapolis-St._Paul)
http://www.knowledgerush.com/wiki_image/e/ed/Minneapolis_skyline_daytime.jpg
This will go through a couple of phases. The first couple days will be adjustments I'm guessing. Which will need to be fast since I've got tickets to see Bon Jovi my second night there.
Following that, I have 3 sports matches booked. The basketball against the Lakers (best team with arguably the best current player), the Hockey against the bitter rivals and the Baseball for the opening series of the new stadium (might get tickets for the other two days as well)
Along with this, there will be muchos shopping in one of the largest malls in the world - The Mall Of America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mall_Of_America). Basically it has three floors of shops, a half floor taken up by a cinema, a half floor food court (:D) and to top it off, a big ass theme park in the middle and aquarium underneath. That will take me a couple days to go round in itself.

On top of that, I will just simply walk round exploring one of the cleanest, most beautiful and coldest cities in the US.
2. Leg Two - Orlando, FL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orlando)

A majority of this leg will be spent in malls and the swimming pool, thawing out from Minneapolis (avg temp for Orlando in April is about 90F). But the best part of the leg will be the following intro and song, followed by another 11 by the band, and then the next two hours from the headliner.

Yep, my six year wait to see Breaking Benjamin live will end as I see them as support to Nickelback in Orlando :D.

AUGUST
1. Sonisphere - 30th July to 1st August
The heaviest festival of the three, it is being headlined this year by Rammstein and Iron Maiden. With loads of other bands still to be announced (I'm holding out hope for Three Days Grace and Chevelle), my current highlights are Motley Crue, Slayer, Papa Roach and BMTH

2. i40
Pretty self explanitory, it's a gaming event with you lot :D
3. Rewind Festival - 20th-22nd August
Ok, yes, this is the 80's festival in Henley. Not normally my scene, but I managed to blag some cheap VIP area tickets. And the internet legend that is Rick Astley (himself) will be there. If I can grab a picture with him for Facebook, then my life goals list will be one shorter.

4. Reading Festival - 27th-29th August
Nothing announced yet, but I already have pre-sale weekend tickets.
