League Of Legends free DotA like game

I was wondering if anyone else playing LoL from the scene here? To those who don't know the game, it is a DotA like strategy game and it is actually totally free to play. Very enjoyable.

I played it abit, but i didint like it compared to Heroes of Newerth, a few of us here play HoN tho :P

Well I tried HoN but that is too dark and too serious to me. Btw you should really play a bit more it shows its beauties after lvl 10 :p

I can't take it seriously after playing HoN, it's mechanics just seem strange compared to it xD.

Well HoN is in my opinion a DotA copy, League of Legends aims more to be unique but still stay in the genre. I would certainly give it a chance or at least head over to the blog and check out champion spotlights :p

I downloaded LoL and installed it this morning from your recommendation, it's more laid back than HoN as in there isn't as much to worry about, I think it could be quite fun when you learn all the heroes and items. I'll stick with it, my first game I was put mid with a sort of tanky hero, did quite well, he was a turtle dude with a pretty cool aoe earthquake ultimate.

Well i played this game long ago i think that was OBT days of the game, though its same as DOTA, HoN quite fun its just i do not know all the heroes and items and i messed up. hehe

Never been a fan of DotA style games, hopefully the Valve one in the works might change that though.
