Bought this drive as a backup for my servers 2TB raid 0 array about 4 months ago, and now its too small to accomodate the array and im upgrading to an 8TB raid 5 array for teh server and taking the 2tb raid 0 array fro my pc.

Either way this drive is about to become redubndant and i thought someone here might be interested in first dibbs on purchasing it.

Its still under guarantee from samsung and i believe it came with 1 year warranty from microdirect too.

Technical Specs:
1500GB (unformatted)
32MB Cache
Sata interface - 3GB/S
Model: HD154UI

Cost is currently £70 from microdirect.

Open to offers.

I'm interested but currently skint and thus wouldn't be able to pay for a while. I'd offer £50 but that's 2 months away :<

That may be so but its not hard to RMA something.

If it goes wrong in the warranty period samsung / microdirect arent going to turn you away.

To RMA the drive direct to samsung all they do if give u a number and an address.
You send, they replace.

Dont even provide proof of purchase.
