Yes, VALVe have found another way to make money.

Now, in the latest update for TF2, you can pay /real/ money, for in-game items.

Right now it looks like items that you can't unlock any other way, but unfortunately, it's not only hats, for example, a new flamethrower, the "Degreaser" has -25% fire damage, but an 80% faster weapon switch time..

Discuss.

Although, the weapons that you can pay for look like they are VERY useless.

For example, "The Rocket Jumper" Rocket Launcher for the Soldier;

+200% Primary ammo on wearer.
No self-inflicted damage on wearer
-100% Damage.

It's literally a rocket launcher that does no damage, and its only use is to learn how to rocket jump.

Just found out, all the items we had unlocked already are classed as "Vintage" items.

The only items you have to pay for are cosmetic, there are no items that change gameplay that you have to pay for.

Valve have been updating TF2 for FREE for the past THREE YEARS. I don't see a problem with this at all.

You mean other than the weapons?

There are new pay-for weapons that change things, a scout pistol that slows target 40% for half a second.

As well as some milk for the scout.....

There are non-cosmetic items on the shop.

You can find all the new weapons as drops.

Ah Ok.

But still, I liked the random drop system, it meant people who had luck had the modded guns, and the unlucky people were stuck in the rain.

Now it's the richest guys who'll buy everything :(

Although I like the object dyes, change the colour of any object.....

What should I dye first?
