Mitch's Adventures! 1: Blue Reef Gym!

Today I went on an escapade with my trusty aides Ki and Jenny to the Blue Reef Aquariu...... I mean Pokemon Gym in Tynemouth!

After a long battle to photograph every interesting fish and animal, the final duel with the seals commenced....

How did I fare I hear you ask?.... You'll have to read on to find out ;)

First up we have the WINturtles :)

Then after defeating these with ease, we moved on to "Capture" the large Piranha!

This one even had a massive light shining out of the top of it!

Then we had the mini-catfish things. Jenny liked these :)

Next, somebody went under a dock.... and there they saw a rock..... it wasnt a rock.... it was a ROCK LOBSTER!

In this one it was summoning an amazing Solar Beam attack.... pretty surprising for a water pokemon!

Then! in the same tank, Staryu popped out and tried to use flail (it failed)

After braving Staryu and the Solarbeam which we skillfully dodged, we found some Flatfish or something

In the next tank we approached our first mini boss, haven't spent a few minutes assessing tactics we moved in. We found it to be somewhat related to Steve Irwin ;)

After defeating the likes of the Ray and SINISTER FISH, we moved on to find STEALTH FISH!

After the trauma of the pipe we moved to a less scary tank, we were met by several miniature Horsea!

In the neighboring tank was LASER EYE!

And suddenly staryu came back to have some!

Next we found some little pipe fish things

At this point we realised we had cleared Phase 1.... but what was next in Phase2!?!

This encounter required alot of stamina to survive the smell attack they unleashed but again we prevailed.

We moved on back into the depths of the world of Disney Pixar...

Suddenly the mood shifted to the rainforest and we had stealth frogs which we failed to find and some locusts (which Jenny loved ;))

After completing the gym and defeating the Seals Jenny Burbeck awarded me with a Turtle badge!

Which I obviously had to celebrate in true Pokemon manner :) (see full size for more lolz)

Who is your dealer, and can I have his number? Also, shouldn't the aquarium be the second gym badge, or did you skip the rock gym? SOOO MANY IMAGES MY RURAL INTERNET CONNECTION IS B0RKED.

The next chapter (were expecting) is going to be BUTTERFLY WORLD!

@Hutch - this is yet another pokemon world, not kanto or johto, but newcastlo :D
