While perhaps not quite as exciting as the ATK v4.0 release, v4.1 adds some highly requested features to the site. Below are the highlights that make browsing ATK a better experience for everyone!

Live Streams
Possibly the most demanded feature for ATK v4 did not quite make the deadline, and so it's been quite a wait for all of you. The extra time has gone into creating something special to make ATK stand out from the crowd. We have a custom made module on the homepage (http://www.atkcommunity.com/), and a full streams page (http://www.atkcommunity.com/streams.php) available too. I hope you agree that ATK now has the very best gaming streams browser on the web!

A thread will be up soon for you to submit your own streams.

Get Involved
It's now even easier to contribute to the community. Instead of clicking on forum, clicking on a sub-forum, and clicking create thread, there's now a handy dropdown so you can create a thread directly from the homepage. We hope that this will encourage people to create new threads instead of posting everything in the shoutbox.

A Consistent ATK
The appearance of the site has been vastly improved from v4 with many small to large tweaks. The primary aim was to enforce consistency across all site content. Highlights include a darker site background for contrast, custom made forum icons per forum and a dramatically improved homepage for you all to enjoy.

Other smaller changes and bugfixes:

YouTube button added the header, to allow fast subscribing to the ATK YouTube channel
jQuery now only loads on the pages it is used
"Remember me" in the header is selected by default
Backend header and site security systems increased
Homepage CMS system is no longer branded onto the homepage
Register page cleaned up to allow fast sign-up
Leadership team userbars added
Footer ATK image now links to #top

There are some changes to the site that will only take effect when you control-F5 ATK on your browser, so we advise you to do that to see the full changes!

Just a little something, on the communications box on front page, the steam section has the header "teamspeak 3" and vice versa

In what way? Do you mean more streams added or something else?

Looks like there's a small problem where some thumbnails are not displaying correctly, presumably because I'm hotlinking directly to the images on Twitch.tv. Will have that fixed asap.

<3 phantom, but joe and marshy noticed something - if you mousewheel scroll on the box it scrolls the page. I'm guessing thats its javascript but if there was any way to allow it to scroll on its own until it was at the bottom it would be cool :)

Moved your post to this thread Mitch, I want to keep the other one for stream suggestions only.

The scrollbar is actually completely manually coded in JavaScript, and I didn't implement mouse wheel scrolling. I could have a look at how to implement that because it would be useful. What exactly did you mean by scroll on it's own?

As in the box itself is scrolled, not the entire page.

Ok I'll have a look into doing that.

Don't think the stream box is updating properly, still says people are streaming and number of viewers when there stream is offline.
