Alienware

Anyone here got, had, tried an alienware pc?

Just wanted to see what they're like.

Like all PC manufacturers they are overpriced, you could get a better PC for cheaper and elsewhere, the quality of Alienware PCs is ok as they are a premium PC compnay, but they are also owned by Dell, who arent great. They are usually overclocked which is a good thing, I havent heard bad things about Alienware PCs but I wouldnt buy one.

They're owned by Dell... That I didn't know...and yeah, I know they're over priced!!
I was considering getting one, but I'd prefer to know I'd built and customised it, rather than someone other random person. Much better satisfaction when you just rip the hell out of benchmarks!

Alienware is owned by dell but they dont mess around with the lower level they just do the books per say.

Alienware are quality builders/designer's and I would reccomend them over building yourself if you have the money to burn.

If not build a pc yourself and its normally just as good.

I would love an Alienware, just to say I own one. But as you said...Money!
I'm no expert builder, but I'm sure I could do a good enough job, for a lesser price! :)
