The other day Multiplay confirmed the final dates for i34! So, here are the days that you must be free if you want to join in the fun:

8-11 August 2008 (venue is still TBA)

As before, we will go as a Community and sit together in the "Other Games" section (probably). We will, of course, be wearing our ATK T-Shirts, which were great at i31! New shirt orders will be accepted closer to the event.

I know it's very early to say for sure, but it would be great to get a rough estimate of the numbers we can expect for i34. So, even if you can or can't come, please could you vote in the poll and post your reasons for your choices below.

For people who don't already know, you will first be able to book straight after i33 (which I am going to with 3 others, w00t!!111!) and get a BYOC ticket for about £60, however if you pay after the month following the i33 LAN, you have to pay the full price of £80.

So, before you do anything else, REMEMBER to put these dates in your diary and let the relevant family members know before they go and book something else in its place.

Ive tried to plan this around but Im going to uncles in thailand I havent booked the flights yet but thank god I didnt.

I will be at this one as long as the venue isnt a silly amount away from where I live.

ez64

I thought the design for i31 was pretty good the actual ATK http:// could do with being a bit bigger and brighter thats all.

Target
24th February 2008, 10:52 PM
I didnt mean that it wasn't a good design, just thort a new or improved design would be nice

Isphera
26th February 2008, 08:51 AM
Hold on a sec, you come back on the 10th, and you will be there for the 9th?

Hutch
26th February 2008, 06:59 PM
No, he's coming back on the 10th and skipping the 9th. But if you are coming on the 10th, pray that its in Birmingham NEC Hardie... as you wont have too much time.

Isphera
26th February 2008, 08:02 PM
No, he's coming back on the 10th and skipping the 9th.

But he said he misses first day, which is the 8th.

Hutch
26th February 2008, 08:19 PM
So then he's coming for a half day?

Not worth it.

Isphera
26th February 2008, 09:00 PM
1 and a half days.

Hardietbh
27th February 2008, 07:54 AM

Isphera
27th February 2008, 08:55 AM
I hope not - Newbury is too good to move from - and I live half and hour away.

Hutch
27th February 2008, 07:07 PM
Yeah, brummy does rhyme with scummy.

Chazlene
27th February 2008, 07:35 PM
Newbury's even closer to me, only about 15 minutes. Not sure if Newbury's any better than Birmingham Hutch, you know what they say, Berkshire born, Berkshire bred, strong in the arm, thick in the head.

Hutch
27th February 2008, 07:41 PM
Yes but in birmingham, they cant spell or speak and half of them arent english.

Chazlene
27th February 2008, 08:33 PM
Good news - we've managed to change the dates of our holiday so I now can come to i34 - looks like you're all going to have to put up with me for several days after all.

Hutch
27th February 2008, 08:35 PM
Did you actually change your holiday dates JUST for i34? Thats either really sad, good commitment, or you are trying to put off the dreaded holiday where you get bored.

Chazlene
27th February 2008, 08:43 PM
Hutch, look at yourself. Who are you trying to convince that you are 'cool'? Like I've said hundreds of times before, I, like most other people here, only go to the I-series lans to meet in person people who I have met over the internet, being sociable, which certainly isn't sad.

Hutch
27th February 2008, 08:45 PM
IF YOU READ THE FUCKING POST... You were looking to see something else, trying to say that i'm trying to start an arguement... the other 2 parts were nice, the 1st part was a joke... stop trying to look for bad things you pessimist :)

Chazlene
27th February 2008, 08:48 PM
Well this is very typical of you... using the excuse that it was a joke when you've been proven wrong. And also by the way you were talking to me on Teamspeak I don't think you were joking.

Bloo
27th February 2008, 09:10 PM
BLOO FOR TYRANT!

This thread is now a non-combat zone, all military forces present within it will leave immediately or have pies thrown at them.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I can't come, it's not because I think it's sad or anything but i'm doing work experience (hopefully!) on the monday anyway, and want to spend the weekend relaxing (in a more... relaxed way than i34) so... yeah. Sorry.

Bloo out. ZOOOOOOOOOM!

ez64
28th February 2008, 01:42 AM
Work Exp isnt something fun unless you get to be Rambo's Reloader.

gz Chazlene on dedication ive done the same with my Thailand trip as well definatly worth it.

i34 wont drain the life out of you if you have a good sleep on sat>sun.

Oh and

Going back to the topic of T-shirts, I only think there's a couple of changes we should make, if it doesn't cost too much extra. Firstly, we should change the font our names were written in on the back, since it didn't really fit with the rest of the text. Secondly, even though they haven't asked for it, we should put UK.Web solutions direct's logo on the front of the shirts, since at i31 they looked a tad empty with only one sponsor on.

Also, everyone who wants a T-shirt say so, since I'll need to make they text for your names on the back.

Snerfs
28th February 2008, 05:43 PM
im wanting a shirt charlie if thats ok :)

Isphera
28th February 2008, 06:18 PM
Departing from my previous statement, I will also be wanting one.

ez64
28th February 2008, 07:05 PM
Ill be wanting one.

Chalex4
28th February 2008, 07:12 PM
If we were to make those changes Chazlene, we may well be looking at between £16-20 for each t-shirt compared to the original £13.50 prices (not sure if the prices would still be that if we kept the design the same). Would people be willing to pay the cost of £16-20 for the t-shirt?

Also, if we are going to make the changes, we will need to get it designed fairly quickly because I would like to be able to make some orders for the members going to i33, since it would be best if they didn't have to buy a new t-shirt for i34.

ez64
28th February 2008, 07:38 PM
shirt beta testers brilliant, I thought it was going to be nearer £25 a shirt £16-20 is fine but Ill wait to see what others think for the extra ad.

Chazlene
29th February 2008, 01:08 PM
Well most people thought the original price of £13.50 was bad enough and were fairly reluctant to buy one, so increasing the price is a big no no in my opinion.

Isphera
29th February 2008, 04:02 PM
No more than £15 from me, wangs.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Multiplay have deactivated all accounts on their site. You must reactivate them soon or they will most likely delete them. Go to their website and look for the account's deactivated story, or try log into your account.

Woman+Horse=?

Chalex4
7th March 2008, 11:39 PM
Lol, depends on how much space they take up, but anything above 2 monitors would be silly at a LAN. Anyway, that looks like an awesome setup you have there, what do you use all the monitors for?

ez64
7th March 2008, 11:48 PM
winamp mostly for the right side with numpad controls, the left side is msn/sidebar/videos when im fullscreen or windowed mode gaming.

and the main is for everything else.

and this way both of the smaller monitors run off the 8400gs with 512mb so theres enough umph there to take video and another monitor, then my main can game at full screen with a dedicated 8800.

really thats the proper client side use for quadcore, as the only bottleneck is the cpu.

and of course with "UltraMon" each screen has its own taskbar and not just mirrored ones.

Hutch
7th March 2008, 11:53 PM
lol, thats a bit crazy.

Isphera
8th March 2008, 08:54 AM
That is insane. How the hell do you afford that?

ez64
8th March 2008, 12:15 PM
Its cheap when you dont buy a £600 quadcore :)

Who's chav exhaust just arrived and about to have it put on?

Marshy
10th March 2008, 02:40 PM
Do you have to take your own comp?

Isphera
10th March 2008, 06:38 PM
No, you can rent one there, but it costs a lot and you have to put your games on it, so that will take a while, and a lot of space (cases)

Chalex4
10th March 2008, 07:05 PM
Not necessarily Oricalcos, at most i-series events Packard Bell loan PCs free of charge:

Hi

Finally we have all the information we need to open the registrations again. For the people who dont know yet this service is FREE of charge.

This service is developed for clan members who live abroad. This includes Ireland but not Wales or Scotland (sorry) You have to be a full paid BYOC player. You will be able to sit with you clan mates.

The base units are PB iPower 8610 with an TFT.

We have 10 of these units available, so PM me to reserve your unit for i33

Cheers

PBUK

Ok, to those 13 community members that said they are going or maybe going, can you please;

Book before the 11th April to help the process of seating and help yourself with £12 off,
Post in the 'i34 @ Stoneleigh Park' thread to say you are definatly going - please clear with parents either tonight or tomorrow,
Participate in the soon to be created seating thread in order to help Chalex and I arrange the seating plan to everyone's taste.

And Hardie, your not a community member, before you post something about 'but i vted and tht mkes 14 mmbrs'

Hutch
27th March 2008, 04:29 PM
If I am going to this thing, is anyone willing to allow me to scab a lift?

Isphera
27th March 2008, 05:20 PM
Look at Campbell or Charlie, since I will be in the infamous Van of Awesome again, which means no space.

Chazlene
27th March 2008, 05:43 PM
Hmm, err, well... If I'm bringing a caravan then I'll be coming in a smelly old Land Rover, which is actually a van so there's only two proper seats. Ask Chalex then Hutch, unless you want to sit on shit stained fold down seat in the back surrounded by empty bags of sheep food, electric fence units and three hyper dogs who keep breaking wind.
