View Full Version : The ATK A-Z of ROCK!!!

Hutch
1st March 2008, 06:30 PM
Ok, I had an idea about how we all have basic opinions on music, and instead of some boring thread about bands we'd recommend, I thought it would be more interesting to compile an A-Z of ALL members music tastes. More than one band per letter is acceptable (have to be rock bands), all genres of rock accepted. Post and i'll add your suggestions to the list. Post the genre of the artist as well (I'll edit this post as much as necessary). I want all letters , A through to Z (zed). Rock bands only. No singers, as they leap from genre to genre and we end up with Hear'say on the list.

AC/DC

All God like.

can we please have the likes of bloc party/panic at the disco removed, my chem romance is pushing it but there acceptable.

Hutch

NO FUCKING SINGLE ARTISTS, BANDS ONLY!

Also can you please post genres......! It just makes life difficult. God like isnt a genre.
Also, they won't be removed as its a list of peoples opinions, and that is your opinion. 1 man does not make a group. Though panic are shit.
Some good choices though EZ64

I know this is a necro. But seeing as it's a sticky, and the last couple of posts haven't been incorporated into the list, I want an admin/mod to add them in. And can we get people contributing to this again, it was quite fun.

VoX
23rd November 2008, 04:55 PM
I'll have a quick revise of the initial post.

Right, I've added all of Paper Tiger's suggestions, but I cba to put them in exact alphabetical order, it's a mammoth task.

If you want to add more, can you preferably lay it out like Paper T in alphabetical (Dont worry about individual bands, just the first letter) and I'll put them in.

Chazlene
23rd November 2008, 04:56 PM

As in the warcraft thread, can you guys use the format of the list so it's easier to copy it over.

e.g.

Band A - Genre
Band B - Genre

etc.

Calneon
6th December 2008, 12:22 PM
Genre means shit to me. I guess they are Metal going by the .mp3 tags. One album has Melodic Death Metal, another has Heavy Metal, the other just Metal. Load of balls IMO.

Sonic Syndicate - Metal

If you have trouble with working out Genre, try looking the band up on wikipedia, they often have the genre of the group in the description.
