Mostly Optimizations and compatibility fixes for all your direct3d/draw apps.

And I think the only ones that get the detailed patch notes are the MSDN subscribers.

You don't need it Hutch because you have DX10.

Yeah, something like that. I have installed it and am having no issues.

Maybe you should get Vista? :)

Lol, everyone knows that you get about 2000 less 3D marks in vista than XP, and you get 15 less FPS in games like Crysis, which makes DX10 unplayable so the majority of people just use DX9 instead since it works.

I will get Vista if and when it becomes as good as XP.

Not if you set it up right ive got more points in vista than xp just because of better drivers.

when doing a benchmark or using crysis set it to HIGH priority and make sure you have a decent amount of ram thats all.

I personnaly close explorer.exe since it gets you a few points extra.

PWNED BY EXTRA SHINY!

Plus with Vista, the shiny doesnt eat as much ram as the non-shiny.

Its personal opinion whether you prefer one or the other. But since I think XP is better, Hutch is wrong :D
