Advertising & New Teamspeak

As many of you will have noticed, we now have an advert for PokerListings on our homepage. This goes to show that we are now accepting advertising contracts with companies to help support the community and its expansion. With over 2.2 million hits a month, we are a wise investment for many businesses.

Please do not discuss the pricing in this thread, they are in line with what we should expect for a website of this calibre and popularity. Having said that, over the next few weeks I may make some adjustments if necessary (PM me if you have concerns).

I'm not at liberty to say the exact amount that we get from the advert on the homepage, but I can reveal that it is enough to allow us to get a new Teamspeak server (32 slots) because our DCH one is having difficulties. The details are:

IP: 85.236.100.27:11257
Password: {none, until it is abused}

All of your accounts are non-existent on this server, so you will need to re-register.

2.)Sponsorship is generally a good thing as it lets the site grow

Pricing is pretty cheap tbh for the amount of veiws they will get.

Advertising is rarely ever carried out by an individual, but usually by a business that is willing to spend significant amounts to get their product out there.

When I inquired about advertising on a professional forum, they said with out statistics that we could easily reach £200/month per advert. I though that was a little steep, so lowered the prices accordingly. Also:

But no, we aren't getting anywhere near that much for the casino listings site since it is just on one page. You've got to start somewhere ;).
