People have started creating trade maps :(. A link to one on FPSBANANA. The idea is for people to connect to the servers and trade their items. TF2 is really turning into WOW :p.

I doubt trading will actually be done 'in character' which would make these maps kind of pointless. More likely you'll trade items through chat or something. However it would be kind of cool if you had to do it in person :D.
Valve actually haven't said how the trading system is going to work lol.
So for all we know, it could all be through the steam community and friends system - it would be hilarious if this map never ended up having a purpose.
Apart from a manic deathmatch place XD
