Street Lines

Ok, so it's not a sig or an avatar, but there's no graphics forum, I've just realised.

I'm trying to make an opening slide to a little project I'm putting together, called Street Lines.

Now, we all know I'm not 1337 at anything, let alone graphics, but what do you think about my little mess-around with GIMP:

The feeling of the series(?) is sort of a street drama kind of thing, which I tried to get across on my version of the slide, I'm not sure if that worked, what do you guys think?

It kinda just looks like a lower quality version of the original photo. With some strange beam of light coming from the lamp post.

Also, i moved this to the media forum.

Text is always gonna be the hardest thing :p.

Actually Phantom, It's got a slight wave to it, with a little distortion, a gaussian blur of 2px, and the lightsource from the lamp shining on the street.

Atmospheric Shit, no? XD
