TeamSpeak 3 Open Beta Announced!

Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up about this:

Somehow I'm not really bothered by this announcement, but whenever we do switch over it'll be nice to have a lower latency.

Here's hoping the positional audio is as good as mumble.

...why bother with an open beta for a comms client? Just release the damn thing and call all of the faults "features"...

They did with TS2, ever noticed how it's Teamspeak RC2 (Release Candidate 2)?

Huh, guess it worked then. I was about to type that betas are for sorting bugs and problems out, but I can't remember having a major problem with TS... ever...

Omg they finally going to do this chalex, just thought you made this up to stop us trying to get you to get us a vent server :P

When are we switching over?

I'm not sure that INX will be an authorised TS3 server host for the beta, so we may well have to wait for the final release to switch over to it properly.

I'll ask INX for more details.
