I'm not sure I agree with him totally on this one.

I generally agree with Yahtzee, but don't have BC2, so I can't really pass judgement atm.

he got the mortar bit right, and the smoke IS a little obscuring... but then again. It's smoke. It isn't know for it's transparency...

Plus I get the feeling yhatz sucks at games. Had to be said.

I agree with the Smoke, My eyes burn after trying to see through everything all the time, but that kinda adds to that war feeling i guess.

As far as i know he never played the multiplayer (he never does) so hes missing out on pretty much the whole point of the game.

I havent even tried to complete the singleplayer yet, mostly due to time but i would do it if was decent

i was starting to get aroused by damaged masonry hahahhah :P, well i do not agree with him, he disses almost every damn game anyway, altho its true in many parts i do enjoy BC2 very much.

It's a useless review as he only reviews singleplayer, and singleplayer was only an afterthought in BC2. I have 30h+ on multiplayer but less than 30 mins on singleplayer.

Tom Francis plays multiplayer, he's written two extremely long blog posts about trying to gain a single, silly, achievement in a multiplayer game on his blog for one thing.

And on Yahtzee... if you're looking for praise don't go for zero punctuation. The best you'll ever get from him is a "it isn't bad" (aside from Portal) but I do like listening to people who get riled up when he insults there favourite game. :p

Hmm, meh, Tom wrote once about preferring only to play LAN (Like Yahtzee) so that he is within punching distance of his opponent, but meh.

True, but then cool people prefer coop anyway to competitive multiplayer anyway, as an area of gaming it has tonnes more potential IMO than straight shooter mechanics.

Yeh he never does the multi player part, which is really the best thing about BC2. I played it on my flats mates pc and i think he has it on mid-low settings and smokes not an issue, will prob be with higher gfx settings on :S but the smoke kinda of impares everyone in multiplayer so it balances out :D
