Naming! TheATKReview, ATKReport or ATKCrits ?

If you were at i40, you'll now know that ATK is preparing itself to start reviewing products and games properly!

Shortly we'll have a site up for it with a team of reviewers behind this new ATK venture. We already have the links with the product manufacturers, so it won't have a problem getting new products in to test.

However, we need a name! ATKReviews.com is taken, so I've created this list of possible options:

• TheATKReview.com - don't think we should go for because atkreviews.com is a pron site
• ATKReport.com
• ATKCrits.com
• TheATKTest.com
• ATKAssess.com
• ATKStars.com
• ATKCritic.com
• ATKJudge.com
• ATKJourey.com
• ATKVerdict.com
• ATKTrial.com

My favourites are the top half of the list.

If you particularly like one of the above please say so, or post your ideas below!

I know Paper Tiger, Vox and Target want to be part of this but who else would? We're going to need a mix of visual and written ones.

I'm up for reviewing and shit, ATKcrits.com is my favourite option.

I like ATKCrits and ATKVerdict.


Yeah, still up for doing this, should have DSLR soon so fi we get regular stuff would look into constructing a light box for professional quality pics.

Does it have to have ATK in the url? Just sounds wrong. Something like www.TheCritReview.com would be better IMO, then just say a partnership of ATK.

I'd be willing to write reviews, and i could do editing and 3D work for the videos.

I want Report as well, mainly because I'll copy Steven Colbert and make it a soft t. And I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem, but will there be an exclusivity thing for this or am I free to post my stuff on AddendaProvided as well?

Also Chalex, how were you thinking of doing the actual site? Just have it as a blog layout which we all have admin accounts on?

I'm gonna use it more when I go back to uni, when I'll actually be producing more art and shit and looking up designers, plus I intended to use it mainly as a portfolio, but I haven't properly worked out how to make it display thumbnails the way I want yet :p

Fair enough :D. I don't know why I'm critising, AddendaProvided hasn't been a beacon of activity either :D Gonna have my festival reviews soon though and NFL starts in a couple weeks, so should bump up a bit then.
