LAN Games

So, this is something we do at Portsmouth Uni LANs. Somebody brings installers for old LAN games, we share them around at the LAN, then we all play them! This includes games such as:

GTA 2 - Top down deathmatch style.
Quake 3 - Classic FPS.
Unreal Tournament - Classic FPS.
Halo - Duh.
Worms Armageddon - Don't really need to explain this.
Red Alert 2 - RTS.
Starcraft 1 - RTS.
Age Of Empires 2 - RTS.
Serious Sam 1&2 (not the HD ones) - PvE survival, see who can get the most kills, etc.

The benefit of playing these games at a LAN:

• Doesn't matter what spec your PC is.
• Small installers, easy to share.
• No shitty DRM, all have LAN modes.
• Classic and fun gameplay.

Let me know if people would be interested in playing these at the LAN. If so, I will get the required files to share and bring them to the LAN.

I'll root through my CDs and find some old games.

Can't fileshare on iseries network or the routers will cur you off :-P

Gahh why not Worms World Party? No one seems to know it exists :p

And definitely up for Age of Empires 2.
