The 2nd ATK Starcraft II Tournament

To get a bit more life into the community I hearby announce the 2nd ATK StarCraft 2 Tournament!

All rules are below but sign-up with a post in reply. Even if you are completly new to the game, chances are you will get at least two games and likely some close matches.

Random* Players

*The 'random' race option is defined as the random race selection in-game, not the selection of a race for each match.

Rules

Matches 1-14 and 16 will be Bo3
Matches 15, 17, 18 and 19 (if required) will be Bo5
First map will be allocated to a match, all following maps to be chosen by the loser of the previous game

Once the tournament has started, players must play as the race selected in sign-ups. Anyone who does not play their race will be DQ'ed.

Games are to take place on maps in the map pool (below).

After the match, the result needs to be reported to this thread. Links to replay uploads are required for a result to be valid.

There is to be no spectating in any game for the tournament, unless both players agree to it before the match.

I'm up for this as protoss,

but you should go for a better map choice, less original ones like Xel'naga and metal, and more of the new maps coming through GSL etc to make it more fun seeing as we never really play them

Agreed actually - I copied Playhem's, but actually that would make more sense to do it like that :D I'll change it in a little bit - The GSL pool is:

That map pool looks good, GSL maps are always the best. I'll sign up as Protoss.

Signups will close at 6pm this evening - matches will then begin, also at 6pm.

As usual all matchups will be randomly generated using Random.org's sequence generator, giving those numbers to those in the list in the order they are signed up and then proceeding through the bracket 1 through 10, creating the first matchups.

My friend quinn will play, protoss - Elwyn (gold hasnt played for a while)

Zerg - Kneticz

Still have 3 hours to sign-up, but HERE is the first copy of the bracket assuming 10 players.
