More halp
1. Start->Run
2. Type in 'cmd' (no quote marks)
3. Type in 'tracert 81.19.217.140' (Again, no quotes)
4. Wait until it's done
5. If you see any *s please tell me where you got them (the ip address is at the right hand side).
For some strange reason the both CSS servers and TS lags horribly for me. People keep saying it's my internets, but I can go on everything else fine, it's just our servers giving me a problem.
I think one of the switches in London Docklands where traffic is rerouted has buggered up, since my tracert always stalls there. I just need someone else to confirm it for me.
EDIT: I think I've found the problem (after asking ots of people on IRC to do the above). 195.66.224.56 and anything after that loses a lot of packets for me, and the latency takes a hyaoge jump. Seems like all I can do is wait until the techies fix this.

Re: More halp
Also go into settings on Steam and make sure your internet connection is what it should be, mine reset for no reason.

Re: More halp
Yeah, my trace route was fine, with the maximum between one hop being 40ms.

Re: More halp
Did you go through 195.66.224.56?

Re: More halp
I do not go through 195.66.224.56.

Re: More halp
Ok, that's the problem.
195.66.224.56 is the big LINX, the London switchboard between the big ISPs. They' obviously had some sort of fuckup such that all the traffic going through there is slowed down.
Can't do anything except twiddle my thumps over this :/
