My new genocide toy :)

Well I don't have one yet, and it's not really going to be mine, for everyone on the farm to use.

Anyway, it's called the Rodenator, and it's sort of a more legal version of a flamethrower. The clue's in the name what it's used for, i.e. killing rodents, rabbits in my case. It has a long tube which you place down a rabbit hole, which sprays in the gas, made from 5% propane and 95% oxygen, to make it explode. This combination means the gas is heavier than air, so it stays underground, with no need to plug up other rabbit holes. You fill the burrow system with this stuff, press the spark button and BOOM. A trail of soil flies up in the air, you feel the ground vibrate as bits of rabbit fly everywhere and stones hit you in the crotch, with the whole tunnel finally caving in.

Of course, all of this comes at a cost, about £1650. This is why we're going to share it with another farm.

It was finally delivered yesterday, although it's not exactly the same model as the one above, but basically the same thing. It's only a pile of pipes at the moment, and still needs to be assembled. Pictures:

Can't you just shoot them? It's cheaper, less inhumane, and you can eat them afterwards!

But not as fun!

It would get boring after the first few explosions.

I do go shooting as well, but I only get about 20 each time, because they are likely to run away. That's the advantage of this thing, you kill them at where they've hidden.

I like how it says Varmit on the label... didnt a looney tunes character called Yosemite Sam call Bugs Bunny a "Varmint"
