I know the circle doesn't look that great.
Your green glossy one is a big improvement Vox, although the text doesn't match well. Make it metallic as well and curve it using the warp or sphereize tool so it looks like it's curved around the surface of the green bit.

they could even be used as buttons for the web interface
Usually it's best to sphereize twice at 100% and then squash it down slightly so it looks oval. To make the text metallic use a bevel then change to gloss contour to whatever looks best.

the first one is alot clearer and i like the way that the ring was smaller on one side on the first one
Yeah, I know it looks better with the perspective on the circle, but then the 'A' was covered up too much, and Chalex made a fuss about it looking like a 'B'.
Anyway I posted this at PHW online since they have a lot of good photoshopers, and one of them made an edit to it:

If you could find me a tutorial (I love a good tutorial lol) on this it would be helpful and also one on using alpha channels to make things invisible

Well, type whatever you want, apply normal black-gradient to the text, normal drop shadow with a distance of 1, white stroke set to 2 and on the inside, then hold alt and press the up then across arrows a lot. To make it 'come out at you' go to edit>transform>perspective and pull the corners of the box.

Yeah I would have to agree, I prefer the spiral as well. I think that the spiral is definitely your best logo yet. In terms of the letter sizing, could you try making them all a bit more equal, as you are putting emphasis on the K "Kill" which looks OK but seems a little random.
I think there should be emphasis on the A and the K, it seems to look better, hence why I have my name as VoX not Vox
Hmmm...I think it makes it more of a 'rememberable' logo if I have different letter sizes, I might make the a bigger if I can be asked to remake the whole thing.
Anyway, please say if you prefer the texture of the letters on the latest two logos on the texture of the previous logos with the blood and metal circle.

A lot of the members at PHW are saying they think it would look better just with the text on its own by the way.
I prefer just the image on its own all though I like the kill bill styles of both bloody versions.

Chazlenes are the best.. probs would look best with just text on its own rather than in a spiral or with bars or blood. Still looks kill bill without blood :)
Yeh, we've kinda agreed that the orange ATK will be the final logo, so i wil see what i can do with it but so far it looks best on its own.

I reversed the 3D and changed the pattern overlay of the 3D and I could probably burn the actual text.

Yes I did as all I remember was you saying "To make it 3D you just use the 'nudge' tool"
Nice work so far Chazlene. I prefer the last logo you did to all of the others at the moment. I would really appreciate it if you could put less emphasis on the K and more on the A. After that, with a few tiny tweaks I think we will be done!
