I'll be on the end if someone gives me something to lock my laptop to the desk - my PC is fried so I can only bring that, and though I'm sure security is tight I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'll also happily get everyone drinks from the bar as long as they're paying for mine. :p

Looking at the plan and talking to people it would be better to keep you not on the end if chazle needs to be next to setsoru and calex, otherwise it pushes that rown down by 1 and its basically already full.

Its possible but its gunna move others away from people they would rather be sat with.

I'm fine with most of those, though I'll insist that I want to sit next to Chalex.

Okay, talked to chazle and bloo and found a compromise that suits everyone.

Any problems, post them and your reason for them.

Having been talking to everyone seperatley and discussing with chalex chazlene and bloo again weve decided that for several reason were gunna go for the original schematic - this 1...

Chalex n people will post reasons for this below, other than its preferable for everyone except DK.

For starters DK hasnt sat on the end yet, a point raised by most people ive spoken too.

1. Bloo's laptop CAN'T be on the end. That's just silly.
2. I wanted to be near Bloo.
3. Chaz wanted to sit next to Bloo.

This plan wins. Sorry DK, it's the way the cookie crumbles.

Frankly, I'm starting to get a little pissed off... can I get the percentage of ATK that have expressly said they DON'T want to sit next to me? Me.... there are others too, tho most of them have asked not to be named

What is the express reason as to why you have to be above everyone and not be on the end to simply alter a plan where only you are the unhappy party? The other three people on the ends haven't complained at all during this, and AFAIK, those on the end at previous lans (Chaz, Mitch, Gary, Hutch and whoever was at 37) haven't had many quibbles, if any, at all before or during the event.

Like I said earlier, the main concern should be who you are next to rather than who you are with, and looking at it, you won't get much better than VoX, Setsoru and Nikkoli.

The main problem I saw with the new one was that Mitch and DK were seperated by one person. Do the math.

And like Mitch and Chalex said, once you've had your turn on the end, chances are you won't get asked to sit there again. And chances are I'll be coming to 43, and since I have no express concern with it, and I have Chris and Freddie to the side of the and Mitch behind me, I'm cool with it.

Id rather be as far away from dk as possible but i tried to shuffle the seating around so he cud sit where he wanted but everyone else if much happier with the original plan, but others, not me, decided to leave you on the end.
Tho theres nothing wrong with sitting on the end your just being fucking awkward. go on the end this time and u wont have to again.

There's nothing wrong with being on the end. If anything it gives a little privacy not being squashed in on both sides.

There is normally an argument over seating, although it's normally who with who rather than who goes where. Mitch has done a pretty good job the last couple lans though at sorting it out with the group method.

if it makes things easier, i have no preference where i sit, i don't have to be next to chazlene, i can be near him, but i don't think it will be a problem if i'm not :D

i can go on the end no problem
i can sit by myself in a corner no problem.
don't have to be next to chazlene either, i'm sure the rest of you aren't that bad hahaaha

If chazle agrees to this i can have a poke around with the plan when i get back from work, but it probably wont fit as well as it does having dk on the end coz realistically with eveyone else being happy it wud be jsut swapping you and dk xD

Fuck that, everyone has to have a turn at the end DK and this time its yours, I sat at the end at the last lan even though I wasn't meant to on the seating plan. Why should the other 19 people have to move just so 1 person can sit in the middle cause he thinks he's too good to sit on the end. Your not gunna make any friends by being a bitch about it, just sit on the fucking end, we'll all have to use mumble to communicate anyway really so its not like your losing out by being their, and your sat the easiest place to get out from so when they shout out that free shit is being given away your the first in the qq and you won't miss out when everyone gets up to go places!!

I've played around with the idea of Setsoru being on the end, but that causes more problems that it solves really. Chazlene doesn't want to be near the end as he was last time, and I want to be near Bloo and next to Phant. I can only think of this:

Doesnt work. Voz wants to sit next to gary and vice versa, they really hit it off last year. Also setsoru shudnt really have to be completley seperated fom his mate at his first iseries.

Also strongly agree with chris. Iirc @ i34 it was dk who just sat wherever he wanted and fucked up the seating there as well.

Well, you can't say I didn't try. I think you're just going to have to grin and bear it DK. Many of us have sat at the end (including me), and it's perfectly fine.
