The only camera we've got in this household is a cheap webcam which barely can differ black from white so I can't get an own pic of my chassi. :/ Well, well, this is it:

Looks quite tacky I guess. xD
Edit:

It's too hot in here to have the side closed, this room is like 3x2.5 m^2. I just put it there for the photo shoot for aesthetic reasons.
Funky case.
I'll grab some pics of my new build soon and shove them up here, Antec 900-2 ftw!
EDIT: Here they be!
Note that the RAM is in single channel as the MB throws a fuss if it's in dual channel, and the cables are as managed as I can be bothered to do, but when the Gcard sits and 70C full load and the CPU doesn't break 46 or so doing the Intel burn-in test, I think that it's not needed :D (Oh, that's with chassis fans set to low as well :D.) I idle with the lowest Core at 26C and highest at 33C :D. I love the TRUE!

Note that the router is above the table, it overheats if it sits directly on it, so I made use of the 1366 Bracket I got with the TRUE :p.
Specs for the build are under my name.
Doesn't look to shabby, apart from the carefully done cable management of course ;).
I can't remember if I've shown you lot an updated pic of my desk. Ah well.
Nope, most recent we saw was in the Xmas draw video.
Oh, for anyone who is curious, the Blu-Tac on the desk stops my monitors power cable coming out lol.
Holy thready revival batman!
Got loan of a DSLR until Sat, so been messing about with it doing PC pics.
What I've learnt so far:
- Get up close and have the PC fill the shot, looks a lot better.
- Long exposure times with lights at the end give off a nice glow to the LEDs while still keeping detail in the case.
- Cable management is a bitch.
- Non-natural light is hard to work with unless you have studio lights
- Messing up 10 second exposure shots is not nice, considering you need to start all over again haha
So, here are the pics

(Fav one)
Will do a few more tomorrow when I have natural light :)
Nice photos, perhaps a bit orange xD.
Yeah, that's what I mean about non natural light being a bitch to work with haha. But thanks :)
Tomorrow I should have a few nice ones, natural light makes things look infinitely better.
nice timing actually... planning on getting a custom case myself... black and boring is getting on my nerves now...
Any suggestions?
On a tight-ish budget the Antec 300 and mod the shit out of it, is what I'd do if I needed a new case.
Strip it apart and paint each part a colour to suit your taste, although the OcUK AVP edition one looks awesome with just Green LED fans

If you have a higher budget, for performance look at the Antec 900 (What Chalex has), 900-2 (What I have), Antec 1200, or one of the Coolermaster HAFs (What Phantom has) or for silence/sleek looks the Antec P series or the Fractal Design R2's.
Dream case has to be the Corsair Obsidian 800D though, seen some awesome Watercooled setups in those.

(Nem's Aquasidian on OcUK)
Do I spy RipJaws?
Nope, Corsair Dominator DDR2, RipJaws are DDR3, which was £lol when I was building, so went with a DDR2 mainboard.
Ah, I just saw the spikes and was like - ooooooohhh
Indeed, the RipJaws have slightly wider spikes though, either way both look pretty dam nice if I'm honest.
True, but it looks good haha, still can't beat the BallistiX Tracers with the LEDs.
Only good shot I got today before the camera ran out of battery (lol)

Edit: Oh, and an edit to one from last night to make it less orange haha.

As i think i mentioned, and was shown in the other thread, i had to dismantle my old case to remove / replace my motherboard.
Also with no watercooling I could make the case much more compact and stronger. Now you can just grab it from any side and lift :D
Just spent a few hours building new case, and this time its upright!
Here are some pics of the OLD case with nothing in it :P

Note the wire hanging down. Its attatched to the PW Switch jumpers so i can cross those wires to turn pc on, otherwise its screwdriver in the side to turn on every time xD
Haha, it's win re-incarnated!
Good idea with the wires, although couldn't you get away with powering it on and then just leaving it? Might be a bit noisy though haha.
Haha, fair does, I just use a key if the mobo is out of the case, still pretty easy providing you know which pins are the power switch haha.
Oh, in which case bugger that, wires seem like the best idea!
I used to have to cross wires to turn my PC on.. then I got a new PC. Sadface.
My computer is also in a case!
I miss that old case I made :P
