Team Avatars!

I can't get steam to add an avatar at all :( It just refreshes the profile page and it's still a ? -.-

We actually have meaning attached to the colour of our avatars:

Gold - Clan Admins
Red - Red Squad
Blue - Blue Squad
Green - Community members and Associate members

Some, such as mine, also have silver diagonal bars at the top that indicate server admins.

Hey guys, thanks for all the compliments so far :) much appreciated.

I'd love to be able to help you out VoX but im afraid i just don't know, i've never really had that problem - i expect its partly to do with the simple colour scheme we use, there's only really red, gold, blue and green for background colours and then lots of gradients of gray :D

I'll let you know if i find anything relevant though, and if theres anything else you'd like to ask i'll try my best to help :)

Oh and Vicious Horizon, what size image are you trying to upload? Sometimes for bigger images it won't work, i usually output 368x368 images because it's twice the maximum size steam displays at (184px on your community page), and they seem to work fine.

Hmm, I believe they're 184px, but I'll have a look and a try in a bit =)

Just been speaking to Random8r and he's given me a lot of help, from what we can gather Steam doesn't like deep colours.

I will give them all a revamp in the near future.

They look good in Steam too.

Nice, but I prefer the coloured ones... they look decent as a set when we're together. Grey is a bit dull.

DK, you try and get as many colours as there are people in the team to work with Steam, and to have them all fitting one colour scheme, its a right bitch!
