I guess that would be the sensible thing to do.
Before I started making the plans, I was hoping to sit next to Trigger but since Stalker needed to sit next to him because he knew noone else, there was no way that could happen. Now that Stalker is unable to go, I could flip a few people to the left of me around, leaving everyone except ez64 and Hutch (obviously) sitting next to the same person as before.
So yeah, I will probably just move Hutch up one, but I am going to think a little more before I cement it. Don't want to break ez64's heart :p, although it would mean that Hutch and ez64 were together like they originally wanted.

Seating plan related, this seems to be the clan whose ugly mugs we will be able to see through our monitors, and they look like a pretty rowdy bunch of adult gamers... who dont seem to have a general game to play, kind of like us.. I think someone should initiate first contact as these will be the people we will have to talk to for 3 days... also, I believe a FUCK load are going as about 30 went to i33, and look at the seating plan ATM with those gaps.... By the looks of the pictures on their website, they only seem to do it to each others PC's, not other attendendees. But still, use caution. And when refering to ugly mugs Hutch, you seemed to remain quiet about who your sitting opposite to. There are only 25 of us coming to i34 so it's a cut-down version of our i33 group. And yeah, we don't specialise in a specific game really, we just play games for fun. We are a friendly bunch, I think the more "pro" clans seem to take things too seriously and as such seem unapproachable, because we just play for fun I think it's reflected in our attitudes towards other people.
Some of us smoke and yeah, we do like a drink, but we're mature enough to stop ourselves getting in any kind of drunken state - especially around so much expensive equipment. We have been known to shout a little during games, but who doesn't when you get carried away? and even when we do we're nothing like that inconsiderate rabble on Floor 1 at i33.
If you need to break the ice ( or as Hutch put it - initiate first contact - makes us sound like the Borg :o ), come and see me! I'm not shy! You'll recognise me because I'm the oldest one in our clan (probably) - and yes, I get some stick about it!
We look forward to meeting you at Stoneleigh, we might even be able to get some games on or something, though we are mainly an "irc chatroom" clan since the UKCCL folded. Having said that, we play a wicked game of Worms Armageddon ;)

Cheers for sharing your thoughts Goots and signing up on the forum. Hutch looks to have been a little harsh in his post, especially since he has never been to a Multiplay LAN before. I don't think I had ever been to a LAN where people haven't been rowdy, but it is all fun really. We are all in a massive warehouse after all, so it's not exactly going to be quiet.
I remember checking out the seating plan a few weeks ago and noticing you guys positioned there, and to be honest I was quite pleased with it since I had seen what you were like in your videos and you guys looked like a laugh. I can see us getting on quite well really, since neither of us play matches seriously and just game for fun. What are your favourite games? I will definitely be hosting servers for CSS, TF2 and CoD4. We do have the videos in common (I assume you can remember mine) and I can see an awesome opportunity for some cool community/clan interview type things among other crazy stuff.

We play a load of stuff really, TF2, CoD4, UT3, WA, CSs, RTCW, FlatOut2, iSketch!, MidtownMadness, CnC3, Act of War etc, pretty much anything really :) We're in it for the social fun as much as the multiplayer gaming.
Yep, Chalex4 I remember your i33 video, very impressive :)
Not sure how our guys would react to a "video interview" as such, we only really made the i33 vids for historical value but I always say you can never have enough raw footage, so I guess whatever happens, happens :)
We are more of a realtime chat group in #dagodz . We do use a forum (a bit) at m3xuk.net, but with being in #dagodz every night, there isn't much left to say on a forum, so it doesn't get used anywhere as near as much as this professional looking one :)

Sorry no-one was there to chat much tonight guys, we often disappear for games. In fact, we use irc as a staging post from which to arrange the games. The beauty of it is that when you get back, you can read up on the conversation missed while you were away.

Also, as mentioned elsewhere on this forum, it takes negligible system resources, so you can leave it running in the background.

just a heads up for i34, It did get quite hot in newbury but some of us were saved with USB fans.
If you have one already I reccomend brining it if not orders are going from the guy that sells them every lan.
