New admins

I think we need to give at least 2 more community members a little bit of basic admin on the servers to rid us form myg0ters and other annoying people!

Well being an admin gets really boring after awhile because usually Im yelling and screaming thru admin chat at individuals because their rates are 7500 20 10 or something stupid and they go... they are the same rates as when I bought the game.... FFS THEY ARE LIKE THAT BECAUSE WHEN YOU BOUGHT THE GAME YOU HAD A 56KBPS MODEM AND JUST GOT 8MB FUCKING BROADBAND.

Surf is annoying killing all the spawnkillers.
Cant always find who it is.

Haha, I used to admin a server before. I got sick of the amount of dumbasses that were on the server. Gave up on it. Make the spawn killers burn. MAKE 'EM BURN!!

Burning people isnt funny as all you hear is burning for the rest of the round which is annoying.

yeh that dose get annoying , i find the slay/teleport button is alot more fun. Nothing better then teleporting a spawn killer into Ts spawn and before being able to release what happened being bombarded by angry players.

hehe cheers if you really want to have revenge , i suggest also freezing the person before teleporting that way you remove any chance of self defense

Indeed, some good ideas here. Please make sure you don't make the normal players pissed off by all the teleporting and freezing, sometimes it is just better to kick, or ban for a small amount of time.

yeh good point , but once in a while cant hurt, it could also make the server get a few more regulars as it shows we are a fun loving community but punish abusers.

Or just have some fun with the ma_cexec commands to publicly embarrass them . oh god great memories of using these to deal with hackers instead of using the "ban" button i would use ma_cexec <player name> bind all kill, but yeh i see with what you mean about over usage would start to piss people of resulting in the servers becoming less populated etc.

no as a punishment get them to type c2gradio.... that will piss em off no end with all that crap wee play.

Completely, we have had grav problems on the surf today, AS WELL AS. A wall hacker on Dust server, I pm'd Chalex about both but he seemed to just ignore me :(. I pm'd him the steam ID, so hopefully he can perm ban him.

Yeah Chalex is a very ignoring person. Just recored the steam ID and wait for someone to come onto TS.

I am going to sort Chaos out with some admin since he is always on the servers. Sorry, I didn't notice the PMs...I will make it email me when someone sends one now.

well ive been trusted with bout mid+ admin on d2 server and i would play on surf more if i felt that i had more control over dumbasses so i can always help if its needed

I have winter holyday now and i can be a admin, becouse then i can slap/kick them out!

yeah!! the only time they dont spawnkill is when hutch have turn on the rifles restricted thing.... or when chaos is kicking them :P

Oh yeah Chaos... do the RCON thing in panel and go to pistols only... it makes things much better.
