I am a new convert to FM, having got FM08 to play with last week. Is anyone getting FM09, and what are your tactics for success. What team do you play as, what is your favored strategy etc.

IIRC Darkeagle was getting this.
4-3-3 is good for an attack formation or go for the diamond (4-2-1-2-1) to give them support (This is talking in Fifa 04 tactics BTW as that was the last football game I got.)
Nah, i think the best offense is definately 1 - 4 - 2 - 5.

I don't. But before the awesomeness of American Football took me over, I supported Chelski, so I took over them. Brought in Landon Donovan for the LA Galaxy and shored up defense for my 5-3-2 scheme.Quote:

ive played 4 seasons now with welling utd (BSS league team :D) and ive used a whole range of tactics to find the best one, but ive found a 4-4-2 attacking using wing play is pretty immense, aslong as ur AMR and AML can cross decently!!
