Type: 1v1 Teams, 6 players on each side.

To celebrate the success of our team in recent weeks I have decided to create a tournament.

There will be 8 teams in all, and there will be 3 rounds, the team that wins all 3 rounds will be crowned champion.

It will be 6v6 and no crits, the way most teams play now days. The maps will be:

1st Round: Dustbowl, goldrush
2nd Round: badwater, gravelpit
3rd Round: Turbine, Cp_well

A win shall be the team that has won both the maps, if in the match a team has won a map each, a tie breaker map shall be played.

1st Round tiebreaker: Gravel pit
2nd Round tiebreaker: Turbine
3rd Round tiebreaker : Dustbowl

The Dates will be sorted when we have enough teams.

Sounds like a great idea, I would definitely be up for that.

Sounds great. I love TF2 matches.

I may enter with my 'clan' if I can find enough people...

BTW what are the class limits for a 6vs6?

1 medic

1 Demoman

2 everything else

CoW will proberly be in, and thus getting our match team trained up fully.

is is 1v1 or 6v6??? it says 1v1 at teh top but 6v6 at the bottom??? Im confused?

Would make more sense to put 6v6 up there, though.

oh lol so its really a 6v6 tournament - why wud it say 1v1 u cant have anything other than 1 team v 1 team on TF2......

well, it comes with the tourney set up, sorry!

Still fail. It's fail that you still don't have it after it was on the Steam sale for under £5 or something rediculous like that.

A few extra clans have signed up, and we now have 8/8 teams :D.

Darkeagle, the tournament system has automatically teamed clans against each other and everything is ready to go. All that really needs to be sorted out is when the matches happen, since we already have a match server ready to use. It would probably be easier if Darkeagle created a new thread with all the info, since this thread is full of facepalms.

...anyone want to take bets on how long it takes for half of those teams to drop out?
