ATK Community Logo Competition

As you all should know, our new Community name is the ATK Community. Therefore, I think it is a prime time to have a logo competition.

The header at the moment, made by Chazlene, is extremely good. However I would like to see if we can produce a logo that can be included in the new header. The logo doesn't have to be complicated, although it must include the letters ATK in it.

In the final header, there will be the logo and the text "Aim To Kill", there will be a seperate competition for the header once the logo is done.

Please post all your designs here! As the colours of the forum will be staying the same, we need a logo that will fit in with this colour scheme. The format of the image doesn't matter at the moment.

I like the idea of making it look like a dog tag. Maybe if you made that tag itself more battered and realistic looking, and the text easier to read it would look better.

Ok, remember that it does actually have to look good. It will also be used in Community sprays, in-game ads, banners, and eventually on t-shirts. So it is definitely worth spending some time on to get it right. I know that Peephole is good at Photoshop, do you have any ideas?

Ye let peephole do it (becouse its not for me he would do it for free..) and i wanna buy a t-shirt!! ^^

Or simply any color, and it doesnt tike time at all to make.
I made letters because squares, buttons etc. often get messy, and it doesnt look good on a template. ofc its easy to use them sometimes.

It could be an item though, but someone will have to make it themselfs. Because of copyright laws

@ Peephole, I really like your ideas, here's what I think you should try:

1. On the 2nd and 3rd image create a black border, not a white jagged one. Maybe a 3d effect would look quite good? Also could you add a little shine to the letters, making them more interesting? Kind of a glossy/shiny effect (Chazlene will hate me for saying that)

2. Using the 2nd image, place it inside a Dog Tag designed by you. I am interested what this would look like. Add a chain to the tag if you want.

3. Using the 2nd image, place it inside sights similar to those in the 3rd image. If this is done properly I really think this would look good.

I don't really like the idea of dogtags, it makes the community look too bloodthirsty, remember it's a Community, not a clan.

I'm up ridiculously early and I agree. Community not clan, Now where's mah coffee?

Perhaps pink fluffy bunnies or chipmunks seeing as we have so many squeakies and they'd enjoy it. Going to airport for some obscure reason.

The logo that we will end up from this competition will be used in the official ATK sprays as well as other things. You can use your personal sprays but if you want to advertise the Community you should use official sprays.

Chazlene has a point. Also, I would personally like to say CEASE ALL USE OF PHOTOSHOP, You can't do it so either give up or learn some style and use a tutorial and are you colour blind, those things are so garish... ewwww YUCK.

Dunno whats wrong with the stroke, but ill have a look at it

Excellent work, at the moment I prefer the last one. I have told you on Xfire what I think should be done ;) .

I get dodgy strokes like that as well Peephole, what I do instead is use a drop shadow or outer glow instead, so it's blurred instead of jagged, and it looks nicer than a basic stroke.

Very nice indeed Chazlene. I would definitely like our logo to be 3D if at all possible. The logo at the moment seems to be like it could be a lot better, and I am not sure if I like the way the letters are scattered. Feedback from others is always helpful.

Chazlene, I really like your recent 3D image. I have talked to you over Xfire about this, but I think it would look great if they were inside a shape, that would really finish it off (the shape would also have to be 3D).

Peephole, I like the images but I feel that they have become a little messy and a lot of the lines on both images are very sharp and jagged. If you could make the crosshair seem more 3D then I think that would help a lot.

Chazlene's do look so much more polished (no offense Peephole). Very nice chaz anyone of them could be it tbh.

No offense Vox, but it is sooo obvious this logos came straight out of a tutorial. :P

errm intresting lol ill just nood and smile.... anway moving on im kinda tempted to enter this comp but sadly i only have paint and all you fancy basterds are using photoshop, But if anyone wants a badly drawn sitck man just ask and ill be more then happy to oblige. i can also adtempt to do a sheep if thats more to your fancy?
