My dad's going to order a new box for my other computer soon so Windows Vista will be pre-installed on it :D
I'm not sure, cause lots of proggrammes might not work on there because they are made for 2000 or XP
There will be so many flaws I'll wait till they patch it. In the mean time I need to upgrade my PC.
Yeh, the amont of flaws will just drive me crazy, if I wanted the look of Vista I would look for a Vista skin.
Back on topic, I wont be getting it until it is actually worth switching from XP. Wow, we can use Halo 2 if we get Vista. Big Deal.

DONT BOTHER GETTING IT! Its the lamest, most fucked up operative system ever! Tryed it a few days ago. I actually switched back to XP Home Edition!

Well it suck couse xp is much better 2 play on, but its good couse its harder to get viruse on it.
so in other words those of us that wish to use are pc's to look at porn should go with Vista.
and
those people that wish to use there pc's to play games should stick with windows xp?
hmmm think ill just go back to windows 95 and lemmings....
Crysis, Alan Wake, etc, will all be DX10 with basic DX9 support. Looks like MS have been quietly funding some top games to push people into getting Vista. It's all a mess, really. I don't remember this with Windows 95, but I could be wrong.
BF2 btw was the first game solely for windows XP, because they felt so sure that it would actually work properly. Tbh I'll wait for my new PC to get vista and put a partition on with XP as well as Vista and run XP less when Vista gets better.
yeh i have it, and have since july last year as i work as a beta tester for microsoft :D
i had it, but ya know it was not much different so i sold on the disk and got some cash for it.

i dont want vista my neighbours got it and i think they have tried to copy apple mac os with the fold away windows and tool bars stuff like that. I probally have to get it at some point though just because new games are vista only (dicks!)
Vista is not 20gig, its only 12gig
Not getting it until they release ATLEAST 1sp. May I remind you how many updates they had within ONE day of release... 74mb I believe?
In comparison to XP (for gaming and use by us tech-heads/more than average users, It is less stable, and support is bad ATM. Although I'm used to bad support from using XP x64...
