Dude over compicating things isnt the way to go. look at urs i could say that you have to singers and a lightning effect, that makes it sound simple. If you look at vox's he uses brushes pixel strecth and has made a pop out effect.

I was going to add some vector shapes in behind but i completely forgot but it's too late now.

VH, you criticise us for bad sigs, lets start on yours. No border, basic effects used, basic text used, weird square-ish size used and there are too many light sources, not to mention the monotonous colours used.
