Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do to help us set the record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours is get Firefox 3 now – it’s that easy. We're not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.

It's over one hour later than it should have been, but the time has come when the final version of Firefox 3 has been released!!

I'll download it, I already have the beta, and to be honest, the only major difference I have noticed is the descriptions for websites in the address bar.

Mozilla seemed to have removed the links to download it from their main pages for the time being, so if you want to download the en-GB version, click HERE.

IE7 is fast enough for me and when I make a bookmark like "google.com" named as "go" I can just type "go" in the address bar and it takes me to google and the same with my other sites and in FF it doesnt do it out of the box.

Downloaded the proper FireFox 3.0 and the only difference I see is that none of my add-ons work lol. I'm sure over time they'll become available...

Let's see how FF 3 evolves.
