    ATK's Guide to TF2?

I was thinking what could be a really good idea is if we put together a COMPLETE guide to everything about TF2. It would have the basics, how to join servers, class specific strategies, maps, everything we could think of would be in it.

It could work really well, and we could bring it together in a well presented PDF, or something, with pictures, witty humour (DK) and other stuff.

Its just a idea at the moment, but if people are willing to give it ago, post below, I know im defiantly going to try it

A good place to start looking would be the TF2Wiki. I found a good Medic strategy guide here, and it has them for all the classes, as well as some basic strategy points for all of the official maps.

I like the idea, though I wouldn't go as basic as saying how to join a server. I think we should assign maybe a map and a class to somebody in ATK, and they have to write a few paragraphs of hints and tips for playing on that map/as that class.

TF2 wiki is great too. It has all the information for weapon damage etc.

Could be fun, but it'd be useless just posted on the forum. maybe if chalex made a seprate page for it?

Pyro is easy; hold down W, LMB and walk around.

Pff it does take some skill knowing the maps so you can stealth around and get behind all of your enemy then rape with the back burner

ok, so sniper is easy too. Point and click. And medic is easy too, just follow a heavy around. And soldier is easy too, just lead a target and fire.

It's a little more complicated than that Vox...

Pyro is pretty simple though just run at people from behind hold fire button and run round till there all dead or set sumone on fire and run away while they burn to death

Pyros are so much more useful than that o.O, on a payload map they can be used to cover heavys from rocket fire, the afterburner thing, anyone? Spy check, too, a very important part of play, and noone likes getting near to a Pyro as too near = almost certain death.
Take that ya one-eyed, bomb-lobbin', cactus eatin', pot bellied, thug fat jigglin-chicken whoopin' big, back-stabbin lob-armed creepy spastic bloody, blind-eyed pashy little twitchy pickle-headed rocke- hoppin, potato-poppin' phony two-faced stealthy mutant bastard!
