Well I do know that it's a very realistic game, and even though I didn't play the first one, i think i'll like it. You need to act carefully and tactically to make sure you don't get shot. I guess if you don't like military sims then this isn't for you. I read somewhere that the engine they use is the same as the engine the military uses for training purposes.

Although games like this can be fun, they are really annoying and require a lot of patients as use sneak around and carefully advance on enemies, I remember the first rainbow six game where you got shot once and died maybe twice if you where really lucky :P

WOW. Those minimum system requirements aren't too demanding o.o My old rig could support that, if I gave it a dual-core...

Or am I just imagining things O.O
Take that ya one-eyed, bomb-lobbin', cactus eatin', pot bellied, thug fat jigglin-chicken whoopin' big, back-stabbin lob-armed creepy spastic bloody, blind-eyed pashy little twitchy pickle-headed rocke- hoppin, potato-poppin' phony two-faced stealthy mutant bastard!

Yes probably if you wanted it to look like a peice of shit.

Ive got the first and it is very realistic for a game, getting sniped and killed by things you cant see is very annoying till you stop treating it like a cod game then it gets rather good when you go into it more tacticly with a group of people

    I noticed that .

VC - minimum specs are usually what you need to run the game at lowest settings at 5 FPS. I wouldn't consider that playable .

    Fair point Phant.

And Trig, I try to play most games as realistically as I can, which is why I'm shit at most of them, so ArmA is sort of an answer to my prayers.

Have you not noticed me going on about Project Reality for the past year or so?

Last ArmA was messed, was tempted to get it but heard soooo many tales of how it was poorly made eg bolts didn't flip back when you fired an AK, and the AI was only accurate to within 10m and had a habit of just going prone in the middle of a field.

Nevertheless, I shall most likely buy ArmA2 and be the CAS Pilot for ATK .

Arma 2 got 83% in PCG, but i've been reading that reviewers were reviewing a beta version which is why they were marking it down for AI bugs.

    Re: ArmA II

Arma wasnt messed up, true it hard some issues but a game of that scale will always have, compared to PR its miles ahead if not centurys in the scale and depth.
On the rumour about gun models there some of the most realistic that can be seen in any game

Times that with Mods and some of the creations people have got its a great game, i look forward to Arma2

Plus the fact that i have my own creation of an SAS soldier with the help of my friend and weaponry which numerous people are using makes it pretty cool

I thought that but technically the way its written it means 14 aircraft, incuding 2 UAV's. Also, 13 helicpoters.
