ATK Gallery

Image hosting in vBulletin is something I've tried to tackle in many different ways on ATK. Originally we had a basic image uploader system which lacked many features, and more recently we have the Downloads Area. However, the Downloads Area was never really meant to be a gallery as there was no easy way to move between images.

Many of you will have noticed that the i37 pictures I uploaded have been put on a new section of the site, the ATK Gallery. Every member can upload 100 pictures to the Gallery of any size, and can easily integrate huge numbers of uploaded images into their posts in a couple of clicks. Pictures can be ranked and commented on and new features will be added over time.

Our old image hosting system can be found here, but it will be removed by 24th August 2009. Please take the time to transfer your favourite images over to the new Gallery before they are lost forever.

Nice, useful when u need to upload lots of pictures.

Would be great if you could try and fix the forum's image resizer now.

I changed the resizer yesterday so that you can click an image even if it's been resized. All that happens when an image is resized is that an alert bar appears above the image saying "click here for full size". Personally, I think this is the best option because not being able to use images as links was lame.
