Need For Speed Shift Demo

If you enjoy racing games this might be something for you. Apparently the latest NFS is a lot more like a racing sim than an arcade game, and it was released only a few days ago. The demo has just become available for a little over 1GB, so worth a download if you have nothing better to do. Graphics look to be about on par with GRID, and there are dozens of lisenced cars which is normal from EA. I don't know much more about the game than that but i'm downloading the demo right now.

From watching this video you get a real sense of the acceleration in some of the faster cars.

I've tried it, and your better off waiting a month for Gran Turismo 5. If, however, your an ass and spent your money on an XBox, then your still better off getting Forza. They have tried realism in NFS and failed.

The NFS series is probably my favourite series of driving games, so I'll DL the demo when my PC's fixed... but yeah, does look way more like Gran Turismo than other NFS games.
