    COD MW/MW2 Comparison

Since MW2 is getting very close to its release date, I thought I'd post up a quick comparison for you between the latest and previous Modern Warfare game.

I was sooo looking forward to this game a couple of months ago, and practically preordered it. I just find it so hard to believe that they think the online aspect of MW2 is better.

Sure, it could be good in some ways, but I'm just going to wait and see. I don't think I'll ever get over the idea of 18 players on a server though when I usually look for at least 24/32.

Its max 16 players isnt it 8v8, u can't even lean!!!! and basically they took pc game turn it into console game and gave the console version to pc gamers. A lot of people where looking forward to this game, the single player looks pretty good as usual, but the mp is going to be awful, gunna wait till xmas and see wot people think but i can see most people stickin to cod4 unless it gets some good reviews or there is a possibility of competitive play.

    Curse youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Anyway on MW2, well the MP is crap, the SP looks like it'll be good, but at the same time, it looks like they've gone completely mental as well (an underwater bit, fights in the middle of Washington D.C. heck I won't be suprised if we don't go to space either.)

But I'm not buying it, simple as.

Actually I think I have, I was just wondering whether it was actually in space, or I didn't watch hard enough.

Thank god that's a spoof user made video, it better be way better than that . Also Target, here's the news regarding 9v9 online battles:

    http://www.destructoid.com/iw-respon...9-154091.phtml

"Games cap out at 9v9. The software has great latency tolerance."
And here: http://www.tek-9.org/news/mw2_develo...news-2115.html there's a rather hilarious interview with IW:

Mackey-IW: I've been playing mainly with around 100ms ping and it was great.
    LOL!

Also, after watching that rap MW2 video the single player certainly looks like a blast, but don't you think the graphics look rather disappointing compared to the likes of BFBC2?

How ironic, Treyarch > Infinity Ward.
Take that ya one-eyed, bomb-lobbin', cactus eatin', pot bellied, thug fat jigglin-chicken whoopin' big, back-stabbin lob-armed creepy spastic bloody, blind-eyed pashy little twitchy pickle-headed rocke- hoppin, potato-poppin' phony two-faced stealthy mutant bastard!

...everything can be summed up with a spreadsheet document, right?

Be honest guys, who really bothered with COD4 multiplayer for extended periods of time anyway? and i'm not just talking about XP-driven play, how long did you find it fun?
