Looking at £350? I'd personally recommend the i5 750 Lynnfield, although I'm sure other guys on the forums can find cheaper good processors, I've had no problems with the 750 so far, and even though it's a 2.66GHz, I've been running all sort on it without any problem, for example ArmA II RTS missions are running great.

Good processor, and not too much over £100.
