I've preordered the game from Play, but since I hadn't got a beta key yet I got one from http://www.fileplay.net/.

Looks pretty good, wot are the perk things? they like cod perks? You think the weapon system has been improve since BF2 so you can actually kill people now?

I've been playing this game for 3 hours, and once you can get on a UK server it's such an amazing game.

The visuals and sound are superb, and the gameplay is just like BF2 all over again!! There are less air vehicles than before, but in the beta you still get to fly an apache and blackhawk. I also REALLY like the squad system, since you can spawn on any player then and really work together.

The combat is very MW2 style, in that "RUSH" kind of sense. It pwns MW2 though because of the pure scale, and of course has all the perks and upgrades that add more incentives to keep playing.

I will DEFINITELY grab this game . I'll try and find some decent screenshots for you guys.

Oh, and we are soooo gettting a server for this!!


EDIT: Target, the weapons system is amazingly accurate (nothing like BF2 at all ). Obviously since it's a beta things will only improve.

Sweet, this game rapes console tards aswell because battlefield games have always been a hell of alot better on pc

Looks pretty similar on my system, you can still put the AA up waaayyy higher than the 4xAA shown above.

It looks great but unfortunately that's the spec you need to run it smooth (60FPS) at those settings. It still looks good on medium and runs pretty smooth so I'm not bothered much.

I just played for another few hours, and oh my god this game is awesome .

The destructibility is amazing, it really is. You'll start to realise that by destroying certain things e.g. slashing your way through a fence (middle mouse button), that you can make up a whole bunch of different tactics depending on the environment and how much cover you have left. You can also knock down doors, and this really makes storming a building SO much more fun!

This adds so much more to playing an FPS, and makes me wonder how I ever lived without destructible environments. Oh, and the destructibility in this game makes Crysis look like child's play, seriously .

There's a load of other stuff I haven't mentioned, like going to the UAV terminal and controlling the UAV and hellfire missiles. It's a great way to help your team and rack up the points. I've also got quite a few unlocks now, about 5 in total. Most are guns, which is awesome, and the best thing is that some unlocked guns can be used with any class . Now Recon can have a shotgun instead of a sniper, which could be handy in some situations...I suppose!!
